We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and safeguard your information, including how we process your content using third-party AI providers.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

When you create an account, subscribe to our Services, or contact us, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Subscription and purchase information (processed securely through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat — we do not store payment card details)
• Account preferences and settings

1.2 Uploaded Content

When you use our AI-powered tools, we collect and process:

• Photos, images, and video files you upload for processing
• Text prompts and descriptions you provide
• Generated or edited content created through our Services
• Metadata associated with uploaded files (file type, size, dimensions, timestamps, etc.)
• Content that may incidentally include personal data (such as faces or identifiable objects)

We do not use uploaded content to perform biometric identification or face recognition, and we do not create, collect, or store biometric templates, faceprints, or face geometry data. However, uploaded content — including images of faces used in features such as portrait retouch, restoration, or background change — may be considered personal or biometric data under applicable laws (including the EU GDPR, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act). Such content is:

• Processed solely to deliver the specific AI editing result you request
• Transmitted to our AI processing providers (see Section 3) only for that purpose
• Never used for identification, profiling, advertising, or AI model training
• Automatically deleted from our servers per the retention schedule in Section 4

By uploading an image containing a face, you consent to this processing. Do not upload images of other people without their permission.

1.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Services:

• Device information (operating system, device identifiers, app version)
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
• Features used, tools selected, and time spent in the app
• Error logs and performance data

1.4 Analytics and Tracking

We use PostHog, an analytics SDK, to understand how users interact with the app. PostHog collects anonymized usage events (such as features tapped, onboarding steps viewed, and tool usage counts). We do not send personally identifiable information such as names or email addresses to PostHog. You can request to opt out of analytics by contacting us at info@perfectaistudio.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Provision

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
• Process and deliver AI-powered image and video editing services
• Manage subscriptions and purchases via RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play Store
• Communicate with you about your account and our Services
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries

2.2 AI Processing and Third-Party Models

To provide our AI-powered features, we process your content using both our infrastructure and third-party AI service providers:

• We store your uploaded content in secure cloud storage associated with your account
• We generate short-lived, signed URLs to securely transmit your content to third-party AI service providers for processing
• We receive processed outputs (e.g., edited images or videos) from these providers and display or deliver them to you
• We may temporarily cache processed results to improve performance and reliability

We do not use your uploaded content or generated outputs for AI model training or research. Third-party AI service providers may log data for security and reliability purposes; their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

2.3 AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Content produced by our AI tools — including edited images and videos — is generated using artificial intelligence. This content may not reflect reality and should not be used in contexts that require factual accuracy without further verification.

2.4 Service Improvement

We analyze aggregated and anonymized data to improve our AI tool performance, develop new features, and optimize the user experience.

2.5 Legal Compliance

We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, enforce our Terms of Service, and detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following trusted third-party providers who help us operate our Services:

• RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — payment processing and app distribution
• Supabase — cloud database, authentication, and backend infrastructure
• PostHog — anonymized usage analytics
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method
• Google (Gemini API) — AI image processing
• fal.ai — AI video and media processing

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for specified purposes. Your content is shared with AI service providers solely to deliver the requested editing result.

3.1 Content Processing and AI Partners

To provide our AI-powered editing services, we may:

• Share uploaded images and videos with AI service providers via secure, time-limited URLs
• Transmit content to cloud-based processing services hosted primarily in the United States
• Store processed content temporarily for delivery to you

We do not share your content for AI model training purposes.

3.2 Administrative and Security Access

In limited circumstances, certain authorized senior personnel within our company may access stored content:

• To investigate and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents
• To diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting your account
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests

Such access is strictly limited, occurs on a need-to-know basis, and may be logged for accountability.

3.3 Legal Requirements

• Generated projects and outputs: Retained in your Creative Library until you delete them, request deletion, or your account is closed
• Uploaded source files: Automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after upload, regardless of account status
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting laws
• Usage data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics

4.2 Photo and Content Deletion Policy

• You can delete individual projects and generated images from your account at any time through the app's settings
• Uploaded source files are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after upload — please download your originals before this period expires
• Upon account deletion, your personal content is generally deleted within 30 days, subject to legal or legitimate business requirements
• Deleted content cannot be recovered

To delete your account and associated data:

We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to verification and legal obligations.

5. Your Privacy Rights
